Hey guys, since I posted the video of last year's festival, I thought it would be only appropriate to post the one from this year's! I had to deal with a lot of stress that night. Long story short: I almost didn't get to play due to the manager of my scheduled stage bailing out. But it turned out to be a good night. Got a good crowd response from the random passersby. Loved every minute of it. This is only a collection of clips from the set. Eventually, the entire set will be uploaded (all 40+ minutes =])
Yo! So I just performed my first liveset ever this past Saturday, at the 10th annual Deland Original Music Festival in historic downtown DeLand Florida. I had a blast, and the crowd was surprisingly loving the music. Here's a (brightened) compilation of some video clips!
Because of the super positive response from this show, I'll DEFINITELY be scheduling more soon.
While I don't really post in the forums anymore, I continue to upload my stuff to the site.
The EP is coming along! It has a title, Marmalade Cellar, It has cover artwork, done by the wonderful Yibbon (if you want to see it, go to http://www.yibbon.com ) and it has two tracks finished, along with 2 more on the way. I also am now on a little label called This Has Got To Be Your Style Records, or just Style Records. To visit the label, go to http://www.nwrecords.com
I'm also working on a track that's going to appear on a compilation on Style called the BANG compilation.
So that's what's new!
Hello Newgrounds. This is my goodbye....sort of.
I know for sure that I will not be very active on this site, and I most likely will barely ever post audio here again, but I will try at least once a week to check my PMs and all that crap so feel free to still message me through here. Basically what's happened is I'm starting to grow musically. I'm starting to blossom from that musical toddler stage to the musical child stage. I'm working on an EP right now and I may have a track on a compilation from a very popular forum soon, so you can clearly see that I am moving on. I want to thank everyone on here who ever helped me.
Tom Fulp: For having such a great musical launching pad and hosting my audio.
DJ Cristo: For the encouraging reviews and overall friendliness.
and last but CERTAINLY not least Nubbin. Collabing with you has been GREAT. I have learned SO much in so little time thanks to you. You really changed my view on music in general and I know you will go on to do GREAT things. Hopefully we can resurrect and finish the collab once and for all.
Again thanks to everyone that wasn't mentioned here for the encouragement and support.
You may now find me under the alias of Padlock on multiple sites such as Myspace, Soundcloud, and on IDMForums as p4dl0ck. Feel free to contact me through any of those sites as well as my AIM account: jakeyjake7 and Yahoo IM account: Poopr1221.
Thanks for everything

Just to let you guys know, I'm working on a collab right now. So far, it's going along awesomely! I will also say that it's a collab with a very awesome artist, who many of you may know. It is breakcore. There's lots of glitching. You're gonna love it. Also, I AM NOT POSTING IT ON MY ACCOUNT!!! The other artist is going to post it on his, because it would get MANY more votes, reviews, and listens that way. I'll make a news post when we're done and it's posted. Sit tight people. I think you're gonna love it.
First of all; I'M NOT DEAD!!!!!
I'm just swamped with school work!
But over Christmas break (Dec 19-Jan something), expect to see at least one track released. I've been delving deeper into Renoise and learning all the tricks of the program, so when I purchase it (possibly with my christmas money) expect a major style change. It'll still be breakcore, but it'll be much more fragmented and glitched. I've got some nice new effects and instruments up my sleeve. Just keep your eyes peeled.
In other news: I may be getting my first piece of actual hardware this christmas. FINALLY!!! It'll be just a basic midi controller (or controllers). One with knobs and faders, another with keys.
That's about it for now (for anyone who actually reads this). Watch for a new track or two!
Ok, this is a notice for anyone who actually pays attention to me and my music.
I just started high school a few days ago, and I'm in a lot of advanced classes, therefore, there will be homework. More homework than I had in middle school. So I will be producing not as much music. This is not to say that I won't be producing at all, it's just to say that there won't be as much like there used to. I don't know how lond this will last, but for now. It will take especially long to release breakcore songs, just because those take so long to make in themselves, but keep watching. You never know what you'll see =P I got some better ways of getting different sounding glitches. So there may be more variety in my songs. Anyways, that's all for now.
Oh and, go to My stickam page. you may see me live from time to time, when I'm not in Youtubechat 2.0
I have just found.....THE GOLDMINE of breakcore/breakbeat/dnb/gabber samples. Expect to see many new samples. In fact, I just extracted such a huge break file, that even compressed as a .rar, the file was 300+ megabytes. It's 800+ extracted. My sample library is going to be absolutely massive.
PM me for the link.
EDIT: HAHA!!! FINALLY FOUND THE LYN COLLINS BREAKS. THEY'RE SO HARD FOR ME TO FIND!!!!
I AM SO DAMN MAD AT MY SISTER. I LEFT FL STUDIO MINIMIZED SO SHE WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING. I LEFT FOR SCHOOL. I CAME HOME AND IT WAS CLOSED!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
ANOTHER PROJECT RUINED!!!
I JUST WANT TO THROW SOMETHING AT THE WALL!!!!
ok angry rant over.
